To shed light on the current deteriorating condition of roadways throughout the city, Tampa leaders will host a press conference discussing the critical need for repairs and improvement projects and a pathway to achieve safer roadways.
Mayor Jane Castor, joined by representatives from the Tampa Mobility Department, will showcase areas of the city deemed high priorities for road repairs and explain how a recently proposed millage increase would be used to fund such repairs.
The proposal can be found in “Tampa Thrives,” the proposed Fiscal Year 2024 Budget shared on the City of Tampa website.
