On November 4, 2023, at approximately 1:47 a.m., officers responded to the 8400 block of N. Dexter Ave in reference to a subject who was shot.
Upon arrival, officers located a male victim in his late 20’s inside the residence unresponsive and began to render aid. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
Based on the preliminary investigation, three male suspects entered the residence without permission and demanded money from the victim. After firing several rounds, the suspects fled the residence.
Detectives are diligently working to identify the suspects involved and what led to the incident.
There is no threat to public safety.
