It’s that time of year when little elves are working hard to compile a list for Santa to check twice to see who has been naughty or nice. To be extra certain, Santa will be making personalized Christmas phone calls to our youngest City of Tampa residents.
Santa Calling is Tampa Parks & Recreation program where families register their children to receive a special phone call from Santa. This program is a staff favorite that has been running now for 15 years. Registration is closed due to capacity, but 250 lucky children will be receiving a personalized call from jolly old St. Nick. For the first time in the event's history, calls will be made in both English and Spanish.
Media crews are invited to cover a batch of the special calls on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
