Newly Designed SWEEP Schedule for 2015

In 2014, the City of Tampa Department of Solid Waste & Environmental Program Management’s S.W.E.E.P. services team collected 2893 tons of miscellaneous debris.  In order to maintain the effectiveness of this program, the layout to the 2015 S.W.E.E.P. schedule has been updated. The traditional design, which associates the names of neighborhood civic associations with S.W.E.E.P. collection boundaries has changed. Design enhancements to our on-line 2015 S.W.E.E.P. schedule provide:

  • Clearly outlined area boundaries for thirty-seven (37) individual weeklong neighborhood clean-ups throughout the *City of Tampa
  • An organized outline categorizing the weeklong dates of each neighborhood clean-up
  • The use of published street names, from 2013 Google Maps index, to delineate clean-up boundaries
  • A newly designed SWEEP map that identifies the clean-up week numbers with clean-up dates

We hope you find these enhancements useful when preparing for S.W.E.E.P. collection services in your neighborhood.  For additional information or clarification about clean-ups, residents are encouraged to contact the City of Tampa Utility Services Call Center at (813) 274-8811.

*New Tampa residents are encouraged to contact Hillsborough County Solid Waste Management at (813) 272-5680 for their neighborhood collection schedule.
