26th Annual Tampa Police Memorial Run - Virtual 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk Calendar Police General
Map & Details for 26th Annual Tampa Police Memorial Run - Virtual 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk 2020 Tampa Police Memorial Run (Virtual)

Our top priority continues to be safeguarding the health of the community, staff, participants, volunteers, spectators, and supporters! A virtual race can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on a trail, on a treadmill, at the gym, or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Run or walk on your own, or with friends all while still supporting the Tampa Police Memorial and our 31 fallen officers.

Your online registration of $15.00 helps support the efforts of the Tampa Police Memorial Committee and will include a T-shirt that you can pick up at the Tampa Police Department Headquarters at 411 N. Franklin St., Tampa 33602 on October 9, 2020 from 12-7 PM or you can choose to have your shirt mailed to you for an additional $5.00 fee.

Although there will be no bibs or finisher awards this year, your online registration for either the 5K or the 1-Mile Run/Walk will also include a Certificate of Achievement that you can print out with your results from RaceRoster.com.  You can also take a selfie with your run shirt and upload it to the RaceRoster Tampa Police Memorial page or tag us on your favorite social media platform using #TPDMemorialRun.

If you are unable to virtually run/walk this year, you can still support the Tampa Police Memorial by purchasing a race shirt for $15.00, either online or at one of the Police Districts or Headquarters.

High Risk Hope (HRH) is hosting their 8th Annual Tot Trot presented by Jersey Mike’s Subs on November 14, 2020, virtually. With the uncertainty of the coronavirus continuing to unfold and considering that High Risk Hope serves a population of families with medically fragile children, holding the Tot Trot virtually is in the best interest of all our families.

The Tot Trot is a family-friendly 3K starting at 9:30 am and lasting all day. Participants can walk, run, or stroll in their own neighborhoods and enjoy posting their participation online as a community. The Tot Trot is a celebration of High Risk Hope’s VIPs (Very Important Preemies), who are recognized at the event online with a moment of silence for all our Angel Babies.

Cost: HRH is offering free registration.

All registrants who raise $100 or more will receive Tot Trot shirts for your family (up to 4) and a Race Bag which includes several items such as Race Medals, water bottles, sunglasses, and other sponsored items. The Tot Trot is sponsored in part by WTSP 10 News, Tampa Bay Times, and Tampa Bay Parenting Magazine.

High Risk Hope is a 501(c)(3) for purpose organization that provides support, encouragement, information and resources to women and families who are experiencing a high risk pregnancy resulting in hospital bed rest, potential premature birth and neonatal intensive care after delivery.

High Risk Hope’s Bed Rest Basket and NICU Napsack programs provide personal items to patients on long-term hospital bed rest and families with premature infants in the neonatal intensive care unit that are crucial to a long-term hospital stay.

High Risk Hope reaches over 2,250 families annually, helping to prolong pregnancies and improve outcomes for premature infants.
