Contribution In Aid Of Construction

Redevelopment activity in the Downtown/South Tampa Area  and Northeast/New Tampa Area creates additional water demands that require improvements to water transmission, pumping, and storage infrastructure to provide adequate pressure to those areas. These areas have been designated  Contribution In Aid of Construction (CIAC) Areas to facilitate water delivery system improvements to serve growth in these areas.

The Delivery System Hydraulic Model was used to determine cost-effective improvements required to serve this new growth and meet service levels into the year 2025. The required delivery system improvements and location map are available from the City of Tampa Utility Capital Improvement Projects (UCAP) by selecting CIAC New Water Pipeline.
