Location: 1000 Block of Crenshaw St.
Tampa Police officers responded to a residential fire at the 1000 block of Crenshaw St. on 09/18/2023. Upon arrival, officers, along with Tampa Fire Rescue, assisted subjects from the home, at which point one victim was located and pronounced deceased. One person was detained on scene in relation to the fire. The decedent appears to be an adult white male. The cause of death is undetermined at this time.
Although early in the investigation, this does not appear to be a random act of violence. Updates will be provided when they become available.
