PURPLE ALERT ISSUED AS TAMPA POLICE SEARCH FOR MISSING WOMAN

Tampa Police are currently looking for 20-year-old Kiyonna Myers (black female, 10/30/2003) who was last seen late last night and made statements that made her family concerned for her personal well-being. Kiyonna is 5 feet tall and approximately 105 pounds. 

Kiyonna’s car was located at Ballast Point Park early this morning. Officers remain in the area searching for her. Anyone who may have information is asked to call Tampa Police at 813.231.6130 so we can help reunite her with her concerned family.

The Florida Purple Alert is used to assist in the location of missing adults suffering from a mental or cognitive disability that is not Alzheimer's disease or a dementia-related disorder; an intellectual disability or a developmental disability; a brain injury; other physical, mental or emotional disabilities that are not related to substance abuse; or a combination of any of these and whose disappearance poses a credible threat of immediate danger or seriously bodily harm.
