Welcome to the 2024 City of Tampa Park Finder Challenge, an exciting adventure that will take you on a journey to explore the natural beauty and recreational treasures of the vibrant City of Tampa! This challenge is designed to test your navigation skills, knowledge of local landmarks, and your ability to uncover hidden gems within the city's sprawling park system. Are you up for the challenge? 

Challenge Overview: Your task is to embark on an exhilarating Park Finder Challenge through Tampa's diverse park system, where you will explore a sample of the many different parks throughout the City of Tampa. Along the way, you will discover lush gardens, serene lakes, thrilling playgrounds, and captivating wildlife, all while experiencing the unique charm of Tampa's outdoor spaces. 

How It Works: 

• Download the Park Finder Challenge document to receive your Park Finder map. 

• Gather friends, family, or go solo to get outside and visit one of our 2024 challenge parks.

• Along the way, document your journey by taking photos. *Bonus points for sharing them on your social media and tagging #TampaParksandRec. 

• Mission complete? Pick out your prize by completing the Collect Your Reward form.

• By participating in this challenge, we encourage you to take and share photos of you participating in the Park Finder Challenge. These photos may be used by the City of Tampa for promotional and educational purposes.

Important Information: 

• The Park Finder Challenge is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels. 

• Participants must adhere to posted park hours, rules and regulations, including respecting the environment and wildlife. 

• Safety is paramount. Follow all local guidelines and health recommendations while participating. 

• The challenge can be completed at your own pace and in any order; there's no rush! You just have to submit the Collect Your Reward form by December 31, 2024 to receive a prize.

How to Collect Your Reward

Selecting and collecting your prize after completing Tampa's Park Finder Challenge is an exciting part of the adventure! Here's how you can go about claiming your well-deserved reward: 

1. Completion Verification: Ensure that you have successfully visited 12 of the 13 parks included in the 2024 Park Finder Challenge. The listed Bonus park may substitute any one park that you may have missed. Make sure you have documented your journey at each park through photographs, as required. 

2. Submission Process: Complete the online Collect Your Reward form to confirm your participation and to select your prize, which will be mailed out via USPS.

3. Follow Communication Channels: Stay tuned to the official communication channels of the Park Finder Challenge. This could include emails, social media updates, or challenge announcements. Organizers might send you notifications about prize collection procedures and any updates. 

4. Coordinate with Organizers: If you encounter any issues or have questions about prize collection, please reach out to parksrecmarketing@tampagov.net. We will be able to assist you and address any concerns you may have. 

5. Celebrate and Share: Once you have collected your prize, take a moment to celebrate your achievement and share your success on social media. It's a great way to showcase your accomplishment and inspire others to participate in future challenges.
